Multi-recyle roller press and O-SEPA air separator in cement grinding

Today, the Ciments Lafarge cement plant at Cormeilles, near Paris, is operating with a grinding unit which has been modernized in a particularly innovating way. It is the first French cement plant to be equipped with CLE's roller press based on the MR (multirecycle) process and associated with an O-SEPA dynamic air separator. The modernization carried out by CLE leans on a straightforward and proven technology, an original high efficiency process, a quick performance minimizing the downtime. The recycling of a great part of the slabs produced by the press allows a tremendous disintegrating energy to be communicated to the material without applying excessive stresses that would be detrimental to the mechanical strength of the press.
