摘要:
Doubling of the crystal lattice parameters a and b has been found in two surface layers on the (010) face of a growing orthorhombic lysozyme crystal investigated by atomic-force microscopy. This effect can be explained by the surface reconstruction due to uncompensated bonds at the crystal-solution interface. The surface morphology has been described. It has been shown that the crystal grows with respect to the dislocation mechanism.
