The article presents a synthesis of the parameters of a discrete PS controller for a drive with an induction machine supplied from a voltage inverter. The synthesis is based on discrete transmissions of the system using Z transformation. The design uses the criterion of the minimum sum of second powers of discrete values of deviations and the discrete version of the optimum module. The presented linearized state representation of the induction machine takes into consideration its nonlinear magnetisation characteristics. The synthesis of the parameters of the control is performed for such operation regimes of the drive that the determined control constants ensure a stable current control even in all other operation regimes.
