This paper provides a brief overview of the Voyager Project background and mission and a more detailed description of selected features of the Voyager spacecraft. The results were made possible by a sophisticated set of science instruments and an extremely capable and versatile spacecraft. In addition, the Jovian system proved to be a unique planetary system to explore.
