摘要
Energy is a raw material and as such its use should be controlled by the company management, as with other materials, Its efficient utilisation can be achieved by a mixture of good management and technical innovation. Production delays are the major cause of energy inefficiency in steelmaking. Energy optimisation is the method by which a manager will consider all the costs of a process, and the energy technique which will give the cheapest and best overall results is employed.
