In October 1999, the Paper and Pulp Mills in Krapkovice, Poland, started up its new wastepaper deinking plant. The new plant was built in time and within its scheduled budget, which is considered as a result of bold managereal and technological decisions. This article briefly describes the deinking process and its water supply system. It also reveals the secrets behind the success of the project.
