摘要
The accuracy of the process involved in detecting pulse-width modulation (PWM) and pulse-time modulation (PTM) pulse signals is analyzed, taking into account the actual low-pass filter (LPF) characteristics encountered in practice. Two methods of detection are examined, (1) straightforward filtering of PWM pulses with the help of an LPF, and, (2) conversion of PWM and PTM to pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) followed by an LPF. A comparison of these methods of detection is made from the standpoint of accuracy.
