The main trends in development of radiotherapy technical provision were considered. They were the following ones: preradiation topometry, gamma-therapeutic and electron accelerator devices, contact radiotherapy, computer application to estimate doses as well as proton, neutron and heavy ion irradiation devices. The activities on neutron-capture therapy took the special place. The improvement in therapy of the most radioresistant neoplasms (brain encephalon neoplasms, melanomas, osteosarcomas) was theoretically possible. It was noted that the level of technical provision determined the radiotherapy quality at any treatment type. The diagram of general approach to irradiation technique was presented.
