Blow molders equipped with new technology are launching into lucrative new markets for a diverse variety of products. The driving force behind this extrusion blow molding activity is the availability of new high-molecular-weight-high-density-polyethylenes and blow moldable engineering resins. Other factors fueling interest are lower tooling costs, fewer secondary operations, and product design flexibility.
