摘要:
An automatic machine is described that assembles coil spring mattresses in three different sizes at 100% machine efficiency. It not only forms and loads coil springs, but it precisely arranges them in rows and then automatically joins adjacent rows together until the assembly is completed. This gain in productivity was made possible by using rf proximity switches to accurately detect spring presence on a moving conveyor belt for the subsequent automatic spacings and joining operations.
