The graphics upgradation operations at Caraustar's corrugator plant at Hunt Valley, Maryland were described. The company retrofitted a single rotary die cutter, and added a second and third print machines with computer controls for the purpose. The installation intensified the company's efforts for marketing E-flute and enabled it to incorporate three-color printing capability. The plant was also equipped with three single-facers, gluers and color printing machinery, and provided housing for both corrugated and folding carton equipment under a single roof.
