Selection of the right robotics systems integrator for improving the production process and productivity in welding processes is discussed. The personnel resources provided by the robotic welding system integrators include sales engineers, familiar with the latest and most innovative solutions; project managers; application engineers understanding the welding process; technical service engineers dealing with hardware and software problems. The other responsibilities of the integrator include evaluating the welding process to decide whether it is suitable for automation; conducting a risk analysis and designing systems for the safest operations and providing adequate training to the employees in the welding industry.
