摘要
Thermo-mechanical pulping presents new problems in the screening room and it is not realistic to install an existing system and expect it to meet the specific requirements. One way to solve the complex individual problems in choosing a screening room is to use computer-simulated analysis. A simulated screen-control system is described which includes the following elements: (1) refiner; (2) screw conveyor; (3) pulp chest; (4) consistency transmitter; (5) dilution water valve; (6) adjustable hand valves; (7) white water chest; (8) pressure screen; (9) freeness transmitter; (10) magnetic flowmeter; and (11) level control valve. The following topics are detailed - description of the screen room simulated; simulation programming; automation of screening systems; and alternative screen room control systems.
