An engineering analytical method is suggested for calculation of the thermal and stressed state of multilayer coatings. The suggested calculation technique ensures the solution stability with appreciable differences in the coating layers characteristics. The geometric, thermophysical and mechanical characteristics can differ by some orders of a magnitude.
