On a particular control problem for systems with distributed parameters

摘要：
A problem is considered on obtaining the initial data of solution of the hyperbolic equation specified in a cylinder under a condition that values of the solution and its derivative along the external normal are known on the cylinder side surface. The unstable problem is reduced to stable one using the functional regularization, and an optimality condition, approximately determining optimal control, is derived for the novel problem. The condition gives the searched initial state in the limit case.
