摘要:
The dynamics of defects in solids in the presence of thermal fluctuations and under an external loading is studied numerically. A defect dynamics similar to Kawasaki's for spin systems is formulated in terms of a moving boundary value problem for the basic linear elastic equations. It is found that the system exhibits a clear tendency to form defect patterns in very well defined temperature regimes while its FFT shows a region reminiscent of 1/ω noise.
