An equation of the steering torque for single-track vehicles is introduced with consideration for the camber torque and the section radius of the tire. The equation is further simplified by introducing the angle of arctangent of the lateral and the gravitational accelerations in a turn. Calculations agreed fairly well with results of the full-scale test on different turn radii. Using the equation, influence of turn radius, tire properties, additional angles due to the rider's roll and front wheel alignments to the steering torque are discussed.
