Annual review of the annotated literature on the applied studies which include investigation and development of design criteria for facilities in permafrost areas, including foundation studies, development of improved procedures for operating and maintaining facilities, development of adequate water supply and sewage disposal systems, site selection and subsurface exploration, trafficability of various surfaces, construction of expedient facilities and excavation of frozen ground.
