Investigation of Heat Transfer and Limiting Thermal Fluxes During Boiling in Capillary-Porous Structures.

摘要
Results of an experimental investigation of the boiling processes in homogeneous and nonhomogeneous (across thickness) net-type capillary-porous structures (CS) are presented. The limiting possibilities of net-type structures with regard to thermal fluxes are considered. It is found that by inducing a steady process of boiling in CS it is possible to increase substantially heat transfer in the region of thermal fluxes up to 10**5W/m**2. The possibilties of net-type CS have not yet been exhausted by far. They may be higher than other known and effective CS (metal fiber, groove-type, etc. ).
