Prediction of yield behavior and forming limit of sheet metal based on polycrystalline plasticity theory

摘要
The isotropic yield behaviors of BCC and FCC metals under plane stress condition are simulated with the Taylor theory. The results are compared with a proposed yield function (Barlat-Lian yield function) in order to determine its parameter. Then the yield function with the correct parameter choice is incorporated with the M-K model to predict the forming limit of sheets, and to compare with a steel and an aluminum alloys, which gives good agreements with experiments.
