摘要
Castle Rock, Colorado relies on a deep non-tributary groundwater supply for potable water. This source has elevated levels of dissolved iron and manganese that require treatment prior to use by the consumer. The town has recently completed the planning, design, and construction of a new water treatment facility specifically for iron and manganese removal. A design overview of the project is presented in this article. A process description is also given.
