In this paper, Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV) measurements for the gas-particle two-phase flow in grid-generated turbulence in a vertical square duct were made under the conditions of following particle size Dp and particle concentration α: 1) Dp = 0.21 mm & α = 0.24%, 0.36% 2) Dp = 0.35 mm & α = 0.12, 0.21%, 0.335% 3) Dp = 0.60 mm & α = 0.16%, 0.245%, 0.345% 4) Dp = 0.90 mm & α = 0.205%, 0.30%. The decay curves of the turbulence intensity and turbulence energy in the streamwise direction for gas phase in the case of various particle size and concentration are presented. The effect of particle concentration and particle size on turbulence intensity of gas phase in gas-particle two-phase flow is discussed. On the basis of decay curves acquired, the correcting method to one coefficient of turbulence model in the presence of particles is presented.
