DOCUMENTATION AND STANDARDS.

Documentation plays a major role in equipment manufacturing. It provides an objective means of communication from design to different activities involved in production, inspection, testing, supply and maintenance of equipment. For manufacture of electronic equipments, a systematic documentation is essential. It helps in optimum control of production, testing quality control. The documentation should accurately describe in sufficient detail to carry out all necessary activity involved in manufacturing to maintenance of the equipment. The experience gained by an organization is well preserved in documented form by eliminating indispensability of person. Standards play a vital role in documentation. Standards are the efforts of standardization activity. Only abstract is given.
