Parameter sensitivity analysis of full-order speed observer of induction motor

In order to investigate the observing influence of several parameters variations in the full-order rotor speed observer, this paper configures the parameters of a full-order rotor speed observer based on the conventional model of the induction motor. Investigations, such as the parameter selection of gain matrix used in the flux observer, the PI parameter design and the sensitivity of motor parameters used in the observer, were discussed through Matlab/Simulink simulations. The results show that the proper design of gain matrix in the observer can guarantee the converging of speed observation. Also the PI parameters in the observer mainly dominate the dynamics of speed observation. And proper selections of observer parameters can ensure the converging of speed observation in the whole operation region of induction motors, while the parameter uncertainties of induction motor will affect the stabilities of the observer.
