Comparison has been made between SBS modified asphalt and SBR modified asphaltafter thin film oven test(TFOT) aging and ultraviolet aging in different time. The test results show that the low temperature characteristic of SBR modified asphalt is better than SBS modified asphalt in original and after TFOT aging, but is much lower than the SBS modified asphalt after ultraviolet aging process, that is to say, the anti-ultraviolet characteristic of SBS modified asphalt is much better than SBR modified asphalt. The research results will be of use for the selection of the modifier of asphalt binder in the high plateau area.
