摘要
The Y shape air pipe filter characteristics were studied by the method of combining numerical simulation and experimental study. Using CFD software, the cylindrical filter was transformed to the plane calculation model through rational simplifying, combined with a porous medium model, the resistance characteristics of the filter unit is converted into a three-dimensional simulation model boundary conditions, and the simulation results obtained are in good agreement with experimental data. By experimental measurements found the particle separation efficiency of an average diameter of 150 μm of this type of filter up to more than 96%. The results can provide a reference for the pipe filter design and equipment selection. ©, 2015, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. All right reserved.
