Elastic full waveform inversion is important for the vector wavefield processing of multi-component seismic exploration. The full waveform inversion based on the elastic wave equation can take full advantage of multi-wave and multi-component seismic data and obtain multi-parameter information. The multi-scale inversion algorithms in frequency domain can be used to weaken the nonlinearity of waveform inversion and the dependence of waveform inversion method to initial models. By appropriate selection of inversion frequency, the multi-scale inversion of low, intermediate and high wavenumber can be got respectively. The model test results show that the elastic full waveform inversion based on multi-scale inversion algorithms can get compression and shear wave velocity precisely and realize multi-parameter inversion. ©, 2015, Science Press.
