摘要
Aimed to the prediction of fracture-vuggy type carbonate reservoir, we propose a comprehensive prediction method of fracture-cavern system by multiple seismic attributes through the combination of logging and seismic. We use the poststack seismic attribute of amplitude envelope on peak frequency to analyze the distribution characteristics of reservoir's cave. After that, we cross plot the fracture porosity extracted from image logging with large-scale fracture distribution results predicted by several poststack seismic attributes, such as dip, variance and curvature attributes, thus the valid range of these attributes are determined respectively. The large-scale fracture distribution is obtained from the combination of several poststack attribute values in valid range. Furthermore, the frequency gradient is calculated in prestack azimuthal CRP gathers, and then the micro-scale fracture is obtained by cross plotting the fracture porosity of imaging logging with the predicted results from frequency gradient attribute. Finally, integrating the predicted results of cavern, large-scale and micro-scale fractures, we could get the comprehensive prediction of the distribution of fracture-cavern system in reservoir. In this paper, we employ this method to predict fracture-vuggy system of carbonate reservoir for T oilfield in western China. Compared with conventional methods, the prediction of fracture-cavern system of carbonate reservoir is realized with enhanced prospecting accuracy. ©, 2014, Science Press. All right reserved.
