摘要
This paper first briefly introduces the Small-World and Scale-Free models. Then it introduces in detail three potential applications of Small-World phenomena in P2P networks on the aspects of resource search and network safety. At last, an efficient resource search strategy based on small world phenomenon -SP-based resource search method is proposed. This search method combines the central index model and the flood request model. It can not only enhance the scalability and the error tolerating ability, but also avoid the message flooding and increase the searching efficiency.
