AVL is developing a Fuel Cell Technology Demonstrator Truck. In the last two years, this truck has seen substantial development steps. 3D-Design and packaging has changed a lot as well as the cooling concept which got significant updates and attention. Additionally concepts were detailed for Hydrogen and HV safety. These two concepts form the basis for the further concepts foe commissioning and homologation of the vehicle. As a further, internal product highlight, a bespoke power distribution unit (PDU) was developed. This PDU has significantly more functions and abilities than a standard passenger PDU. © 2023 The Authors.
