摘要
While P2P applications enrich the network application, they consume huge network bandwidth and have a great impact on ISP. P2P traffic optimization has become the only means to solve the tension relationship between P2P and ISP. P2P traffic optimization mainly includes such methods as cache optimization and traffic localization. It promotes cooperation between P2P and ISP. In this paper, we propose a fundamental model and evaluation method for ISP cache deployment, and quantify the income of cache resources. The problem of traffic optimization among ISPs based on the evaluation method can be converted to a maximum benefit problem on constraint condition of the cost of ISPs cache deployment. In addition, a secondary cache strategy algorithm is proposed in this paper. The simulation analysis shows that the cache-based model can reduce P2P traffic among ISPs linearly. ©, 2015, Binary Information Press. All right reserved.
