摘要
Focusing on the difficulty in multi-target detection under conditions of strong sea-clutter, interference and noise, this paper proposes an algorithm for the instantaneous frequency (IF) estimation of multi-component linear frequency modulate (LFM) signals-SMVF (S-method viterbi fitting), which integrates advantages of the S-method time-frequency distribution and the viterbi algorithm. An adaptive multi-target detection scheme is proposed based on the performance of straight line fitting for the estimated IF. Data processing results demonstrate that accuracy of the proposed algorithm is increased by approximately 20% when compared with WDM and WDV under low SNR conditions, verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm. ©, 2014, Research and Development Office of Wuhan University.
