摘要:
The new two-stage turbocharged BMW six-cylinder diesel engine achieves levels of performance that were previously reserved to higher capacity eight- or tencylinder engines. The targeted upgrading results in a six-cylinder engine with 3.0 1 capacity with significant saving of fuel and weight as well as the option of an economical implementation as part of the modular engine concept. The new diesel engine with its innovative two-stage turbocharging system and variable turbine geometry represents a further milestone in the successful history of BMW diesel engines. Power, torque and consumption values in the 740d are a prime example of the EfficientDynamics strategy of the BMW Group.
