摘要
The authors propose a new bed-load transport formula based on the concept of stream power by Bagnold and the theory of incipient probability by Einstein. The formula takes the advantages of both deterministic and probabilistic approaches, and it assumes an exchange frequency to be related to flow intensity and derives the mean velocity of bed-load from equilibrium analysis. Equipped with a coefficient that takes flow intensity into account, the new formula is capable of calculating both low and high bed-load transport rates, when other bed-load formulas tend to perform well in only one end. Validation against measured data reveals that the new formula shows promise as being reliable in estimating bed-load transport rates in a wide range of transport intensities. ©, 2015, Shuili Xuebao/Journal of Hydraulic Engineering.
