摘要
Interrill erosion is a major contributor to land degradation, prompting a focus on the interplay between slope, rainfall intensity, and erosion. Our investigation combines two slope types-interrill and artificially created rills-to scrutinize their impact on soil erosion characteristics.Experiments conducted in the LEGHYD laboratory utilized a 1 m2soil plot with a triangular cross-section channel simulating rills using agri-cultural soil. Slope values of 3 and 5% were applied to the soil plot, and 15 and 22.5% for the interrill soil. Six artificial rainfall intensitiesranging from 101.94 to 31.40 mm<middle dot>h(-1) were utilized. Hydraulic parameters of overlandflow for both slopes were assessed concerningsediment concentration. Results indicate insignificant slope effects onflow velocity parameters within the rill but substantial impacts on rain-fall-related parameters such as intensity and overlandflow power. This underscores the importance of slope characteristics in modulatinginterrill erosion under simulated rainfall conditions.
