Various points to be considered for successful navigation are discussed. Preparation acts to create a valuable foundation to the actual negotiation that may consist of a meeting with colleagues to clarify intentions or it can be stretched to include rehearsal for an important presentation also. Communications within a complex negotiation situation should be absolutely clear because clear communication gives authority, certainty, and confidence. The presenter should be well prepared, well organized, confident, professional to be more acceptable in the meetings. The presentation can be made successful by aiming high by proper planning. The full list of requirements of other party should be known for a proper negotiation. Variables should be searched by assuming everything rather than restricting to a particular situation. The good negotiator deploys a range of techniques, so they need to be familiar with them and be able to make the best use of them. Besides this, the whole process should be managed and controlled for a successful negotiation.
