A method of determining moisture content using microwave energy is introduced. The principle of the method was analyzed theoretically, and the moisture instrument was designed and developed. Through the experimental data, it takes only about 4 minutes to determine the moisture content with the microwave moisture instrument, and the determination errors are less than 0.05%. Compared with traditional moisture determination instrument, the instrument using microwave energy can determine the moisture content of solid materials rapidly with high precision. © Sila Science.
