摘要
The kinetics of hydrolysis of glucose over two molecular sieves catalysts with different Si/Al ratio (20 - 25 and 30 respectively) were studied at four different temperatures. The results showed that with the reaction temperature increasing, glucose was converted more quickly and glucose conversion was increased. The hydrolysis of glucose was a first-order reaction. At the same temperature, the apparent reaction rate constant over the former catalyst was higher than that over the latter catalyst. Over the former catalyst, the apparent activation energy of glucose hydrolysis was 99. 24 kJ/mol, while over the latter, the apparent activation energy was 108. 99 kJ/mol. The glucose conversion calculated by glucose hydrolysis kinetics equations were in agreement with the experimental data.
