The techniques of harnessing biosolids energy by applying various design and cost effective parameters, are discussed. Municipal wastewater treatment plants (MWWTP) are generating waste solids that require further processing. The EPA spent years for developing guidelines related to the safe and beneficial use of biosolids and the result was the regulations for the use of disposal of biosolids. These regulation states Class A and Class B biosolids treatment methods, in which Class A have enjoyed a greater public acceptance for land application. Land applications of dewatered biosolids has greater acceptance than liquid land application, and dried biosolids are enjoying the highest degree of public acceptances.
