Frame-supported multi-ribbed slab structure is a new type of structural form for buildings with large space at the bottom, and frame-supported multi-ribbed wall beam (FSMRWB) is the most important component in this structure. In this study, the nonlinear FEM analysis model of FSMRWB is set up. Through nonlinear FEM analysis, the stress distribution characteristics and regularities of the new wall beam are studied in detail, and the combination effect of the wall beam is analyzed. Through the nonlinear FEM analysis under vertical and horizontal load, the whole changing process of the internal force and deformation of FSMRWB is simulated, the appearance and development of cracks are delineated, and the skeleton curve is captured. On the basis of the preceding experimental study and the finite element analysis, the load-bearing mechanism of FSMRWB is studied. Then, the mechanical models of FSMRWB under vertical and horizontal loads are put forward according to different loadbearing stages. © Sila Science. All Rights Reserved.
