摘要
The corrosion behavior of Alloys 690 and 800 was investigated in high-temperature water containing dissolved oxygen (DO) and polyacrylic acid (PAA). DO caused Cr dissolution as HCrO4-, leading to the formation of Crdepleted oxide films on both alloys. Alloy 800, with higher Fe content, formed a more protective Ni-Fe spinel inner layer, while Alloy 690, with lower Fe content, formed a less protective NiO inner layer. The thermal degradation of PAA resulted in surface acidification, which accelerated Cr and Ni dissolution under DO, further intensifying corrosion. Under DO conditions, Alloy 800 exhibited superior oxidation resistance compared to Alloy 690, regardless of PAA presence.
