A major challenge in Smart Space is to provide complex, context-aware applications, dynamically composed from various types of home services. In this paper an approach of automatic services composition is proposed for Smart Space applications. This innovative work separates the services composition process into two stages. The first stage is implementing an automatic processing model based on program synthesis theory. The model is derived from composite services satisfying input/output semantic definitions to the objective service. The second stage is finding an optimized result based on proposed QoS evaluation model. A prototype is developed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach which aims to provide high-quality composite services for further application business in Smart Space. © 2014 by Binary Information Press
