摘要
We proposed a self-adaptive workflow management framework based on BPEL in this paper, which contains three layers, called Requirement Layer, Self-adaptive Management Layer and BPEL process Engine Layer. The mainly function of Requirement Layer is to establish the variable process model; Self-adaptive Management Layer is in charge of the management of variable process models and getting information about running process through interaction with the lower layer; The BPEL process is interpreted by the BPEL process Engine Layer. The design of the framework is independent of underlying BPEL workflow system and can be extended easily. Besides, we also implemented the self-adaptive workflow management framework based on JBPM-BPEL. It consists of the following three parts: 1. designed interfaces which act as a foundation of other workflow systems that realize this framework; 2. implemented the framework by using JBPM-BPEL as the workflow system; 3. modified JBPM-BPEL engine to implement the interaction between workflow system and self-adaptive management layer. © 2012 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. - All rights reserved.
