Extracting ontology concept based on genetic algorithm and seed concept

Ontology learning aims at the integration of a multitude of disciplines such as ontology engineering techniques and machine learning techniques to construct the ontology (semi) automatically. Based on the study of the problems in Chinese ontology learning, a new extracting algorithm for ontology concept is presented based on genetic algorithm and seed concept from non-structure data. The current methods of extracting the ontology concept from non-structure data are introduced. Based on genetic algorithm and seed concept, a new extracting ontology concept algorithm is presented based on extracting ontology concept methods from non-structure data. Experiment results show that this algorithm achieves good results in a specified domain environment.
