摘要
Connection interfaces have a considerable impact on the dynamics of mechanical systems. Due to non-linear contact forces at the contact interface, bolt looseness and non-uniform contact at the interface can complicate the dynamics of the system. In this study a nonlinear dynamic model of the ball screw feed system is developed using the lumped mass method. Additionally, a non-uniform contact interface force deformation model, accounting for bolt loosening, is developed using interface stress integration. These models are used to predict the dynamic response of the feed system more accurately. The results indicate that as the preload force increases, the nonlinear behavior of the system becomes more pronounced within certain frequency ranges. Furthermore, the simulation results presented in this study are validated by a series of experiments.
