摘要
Experiments on methanol pool fire of the same size were carried out in both Lhasa and Hefei, different combustion characteristics on plateau and plain were investigated, and influence mechanisms were then analyzed. The experimental results show that fire sources with the same fuel type and size generated lower burning rate in Lhase than in Hefei. A program is written to analyze flame luminance image sequences based on MATLAB. It's found that with the same size of pan, the flame in Lhase is higher and larger in area and oscillates faster than that in Hefei. A formula describing oscillation frequency in high-altitude localities is established by fitting the experimental data.
