Application of wavelet packet transform on fault diagnosis of snapped bolt in gear box

摘要
Application of wavelet packet transform to fault diagnosis of gear box is introduced. From wavelet packet transform of vibration signal to gear box, the fault information of gear box bolt snapped can be effectively extracted. According to the fault mechanism, vibration signal of rotating machinery has steady frequency distribution. If every feature of fault frequency can be extracted, symptoms for fault diagnosis can be provided.
