摘要
The impact of high penetration of grid- connected wind farms with doubly-fed induction generators (DFIG) on power system small signal stability is systematically assessed. A practical electromechanical transient model is established via employing the stator-flux-oriented vector control scheme. Similarly, the stator-flux-oriented vector control scheme is used to implement the decoupled control of active and reactive power in modeling the rotor-side converter controller. According to the derived DFIG models, the corresponding state matrix related to the small signal stability analysis with grid-connected wind farms of the DFIG type is deduced. Finally, the 10-generator 39-bus New England test system is applied to assess the effect of the large wind farm on power system small signal stability, and some preliminary conclusions are drawn. © 2010 Chin.
