A novel approach for domain specific lucky web search

Lucky Search is a type of search which does not produce a list of Web page links. It directly hits the Home Page of the most appropriate Web site. Lucky Search depends on Web search string but with the conventional search engines, some times it hits the Home Page of appropriate Web site and some times it hits a wrong Web site. For this reason we propose a prototype which provides domain specific Lucky Search result. To get best matching result we construct Domain Specific Lucky Search Database which is based on an Ontology. Domain Specific Lucky Search Database construction happens at crawling time. Finally we produce result for a given search string from Domain Specific Lucky Search Database based on Ontology terms existing in Search String.
