An optimized study of mixed convection flow of a rotating jeffrey nanofluid on a rotating vertical cone

In this article we have analyzed the self-similar solutions of unsteady mixed convection flow on a rotating cone in a rotating Jeffrey nanofluid. The governing equations of motion, energy and nano particle volume fraction are reduced to ordinary differential equations by using similar and nonsimilar variables. The reduced coupled nonlinear differential equations are analytically solved by optimal homotopy analysis method. Numerical results for skin friction coefficients, Nusselt number and Sherwood number have been reported and discussed. The physical features of appropriate parameters are discussed through the graphs of velocity, temperature, concentration, Nusselt number and Sherwood number. Comparison of present results is also given with the previous results available in literature. Copyright © 2015 American Scientific Publishers.
